Wow!

I'd been feeling really bad about my dismal lack of blog posts this spring... Until I did a quick survey of some of the blogs on my sidebar list! There are only 3 or 4 with even remotely recent posts! I don't feel so bad now! Not really a lot to say today, except BUDGET IS DONE! For those of you who normally knit with me or know me locally, you know it's been an all consuming entity for the past month or so... But, it was saved out this morning, so I should be able to have my life back now! Just in time for Res Textilia next weekend!

I'm totally looking forward to it, and can't wait to check out all the great classes! We will be driving down Friday (and I have a vacation day too!!) evening and coming back on Sunday. I have a plan and a pattern to make a chemise and "bloomers"...or something to that extent...to go under my dresses... Maybe I can get the linen fabric washed this weekend, get it cut out, and get the sewing done this week...don't know, what do you think?

Thanks to all who sent cards, came to my party, or otherwise wished me a Happy Birthday...I think I can honestly say it was one of the best ones I've had in years! And I don't even have my Bay Laurel tree present yet!

I'm also in a knitting/blogging slump. It's going around.

I saw your pictures and your yarn is beautiful. I am recently out of the alpaca business. I have a closet full of alpaca fleece to give away to someone with good spinning skills. It's free. I just ask that you give me back some yarn out of it. Over the years I've found that I do like to weave, but have no spinning talent at all! Please email me at Dogmomm@hotmail.com Thanks!

I have a friend who will be in the Orlando area in November, could you recommend some knitting store in the area.

Since you've left me no way to reply to you, I'll comment here. Sip and Knit and Knit! are the two real Orlando Stores. Knit and Needle Nook is relatively close. Uncommon Threads and Knit and Knibble are the two Tampa stores. All are linked in the sidebar. There is also a listing there for the entire state, though some of the stores listed HAVE closed, so it's good to call ahead.
