I have to admit, after knitting the Mystery Shawl in two months, I was a bit burned out for a while...
I filled in the gap with some spinning. Got a gorgeous Turquoise Ashland Bay Colonial Top from Uncommon Threads and decided to work on making a thin and lovely yarn. I was semi-successful! 14.2 oz of top was converted into 950-1000 yards of approximately DK weight yarn. There are some thicker and some thinner areas.
In honor of this lovely yarn, I decided to start a new shawl, so am working on the Grape Arbor Shawl from Wendy Knits. It is a lovely and relatively simple pattern, and either I'm very motivated or it's going very quickly! Will post a photo soon!
